So I ordered this a while back from Book of the Month Club and am just now getting around to reading it. I had heard lots of great reviews and had asked for some suggestions for quick reads and this one came up so I grabbed it and started into it.
I don’t know about you, but I love books that have short chapters. I feel like I am pushing through the books with a quickness and it makes it easier to find a place to stop…but I digress. This was one of those books, so I was loving it. However, it started a little slow for me. Even with the short chapters, it wasn’t grabbing my attention until quite a few chapters in. But then it picked up and I couldn’t put it down. It really was a good one…kept me coming back for more, I didn’t want to put it down, and made me stay until the end to see if I had figured it out….which I had!
All in all, this was a good read, and a quick one, to boot, so that was a positive! A little slow, but stick with it and you’ll be glad that you did! I rated it 4/5 Stars!
