The Trouble with Quarterbacks review

by R.S. Grey

My Thoughts:

I will admit, I’m a HUGE fan of football, add in romance, and I’m a goner! This was a steamy little rom-com that kept me pulled in until the end. Of course, you knew how it would end. It’s not going to be a huge mystery ending, but it was just what I was looking for as I end this year of reading!

A few notes about this book. Logan is a professional football player, a quarterback. Candace is a pre-school teacher at a high-end private school in New York who lives with 2 roommates, Yasmine and Kat. I will admit, they were a little over the top and a bit obnoxious, but hey, we can’t have it all, right? Candace, who has moved from England, is unaware of American Football and didn’t understand the hype behind the sport or the infatuation people had with Logan. But while trying to figure things out for themselves, was alerted to the difficulty of dating a famous quarterback.

This book is a little on the steamy side, so be forewarned if that’s not what you like to read. It didn’t bother me, but the only thing I would add about this book in a negative way would be the lack of depth in the plot itself. I have read a few other books similar to this, but the depth just fell short on this one. I give this book ⭐⭐⭐⭐❗❗
