Book 2 in the Champions series by Janet Dailey did not disappoint. Sadly, it wasn’t until I had started into the book that I realized it was the second in a series, but it did not detract. I just hate I didn’t read them in order. Janet Daily is a favorite author and while I preferred the Calder series over this one, this still proved to be a great read! If you’re a fan of western romance with a little suspense and action, this one is perfect for you. I would just recommend you read them in order, starting with Whirlwind!
